The BPF supports viable, entrepreneurial business initiatives with a strong social impact.

The BPF is initiated and financed by DGD, the Belgian Directorate-General for Development Cooperation, to stimulate private sector involvement in achieving the SDGs in developing countries.

The operational management of the BPF is entrusted to the King Baudouin Foundation.
