A responsible supply chain for ethical and artisanal diamonds in Guinea

Develop a fair supply chain of ethical and artisanal diamonds between eastern Guinea and Belgium. The aim is to have a positive socio-economic impact on poor miners through improved wages, working conditions and technical skills. The diamonds will comply with OECD guidelines and requirements and a traceability system will be put in place.

This project has not yet been able to start because of COVID-19 and the turbulent situation in Guinea. At the earliest mid 2021 the project can start and the grant can be released.
