Enhancing fair trade and organic coffee value chains with small farmers

Creation of a partnership by three young entrepreneurs in Rwanda – Tropic Coffee, Green Mountain Coffee and Women Coffee Extension – to train 3,000 small coffee producers (65% women) to obtain a UTZ and Fair Trade (FLO) certificate. As a result, the yield and income of the farmers will increase. They will also invest in waste water treatment.
